As part of Manor Estates long term partnering initiatives with Novus Property Solutions, property health checks are being rolled out across the housing stock. This involves visiting properties to check a pre agreed list of standard repair items.

Alan Ilesley, Technical Services Manager at Manor Estates stated “It’s about being proactive about reactive maintenance. We have saved nearly £¼M on reactive repairs since starting our agreement with Novus in April 2014. This is a great example of the two organisations working together to improve the repairs service provided to tenant’s.”

Gary White, Operations Manager at Novus stated “this proactive approach reduces the number of reactive repairs carried out and increases the lifespan of the components within the properties. Events like this are a great way for tenants, clients and the contractor to build successful relationships.”

As a thank you to the Sutherland Street residents that took part in this initiative, Manor Estates & Novus provided some celebratory fizz for the resident’s street party to celebrate the Queens 90th birthday.
