Our Board is responsible for the Association’s overall direction, strategy and policies.

The Board is responsible for setting the Association’s strategic goals and monitoring the work of the Senior Management Team and staff to ensure that key objectives are met.

The Association’s Strategic Plan outlines the strategic aims and key priorities for the Association. The Plan is available to download here.

Minutes of Board meetings are available here.

As volunteers, Board members are not paid for attending meetings but the Association does pay expenses such as transport and carers’ costs. All Board members attend regular training events and conferences to ensure they have the skills and knowledge they need to carry out their responsibilities.

Board members are elected annually and any member of the Association can seek
nomination to become a member of the Board. If you are interested in finding out more about the work of the Board or becoming a member, please contact us.
